At that time, I was searching for Japan's Top Songs 2011 (hey, I love J-Pop, u know!).
I was expecting for AKB48's song to be in the list. I looked at no.1 list.
No.1 place won by a group named Momoiro Clover with their song, "Moretsu Uchu Kokyokyoku Dai 7 Gakusho - Mugen no Ai -". Pretty long isn't it? I saw this picture cover:
This cover looks pretty weird the first time you saw it. I said, "Momoiro Clover? What the hell is that?". I thought the song could be great as it is on the no.1 list. So, I searched it on YouTube. Then I watched the video.
......okay, wtf is this? This video....looks....very weird. The video with girls, pirates, space, bicycles?! That is just crazy. Then the girls dressed up with each different colours, just like Super Sentai or Sailormoon, I don't know.
Well, about the song...... not bad. After hearing it twice, I found out the song is cool. The chorus is just, WICKED! I downloaded the mp3. Then I found out that it is an anime song. No wonder the video's kinda crazy. It is the song for Mouretsu Uchu Kaizoku (Bodacious Space Pirates)'s opening.
What is this Momoiro Clover thingie??
I was getting to know this Momoiro Clover group. It's a group with 5 schoolgirls, with an average of 17 years old. They called themselves "Weekend Heroines". Whaa...?
I don't know why, I searched their other songs. And....wow....lots of their songs are pretty awesome.
I also didn't realize that they had already made their first live performance in Malaysia on Hari Belia Negara's Japan Fest. At that time I don't know them yet. Aww, what a chance!
I can tell that you will feel the same way like I feel when you're first time getting to know them. Haha.
They're funny, crazy, cheerful and cute.lol.
